What's in a Name?

Or the name you have given to situations around you and the impact or effects of that?...<br/> Most times Naming is overlooked by many... It's not just about a name sounding nice to hear, the meaning also matters most times. Let's see this..<br/> <br/><i><i>Now the Lord God said, It is not good (sufficient, satisfactory) that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him.</i></i><br/> <i><i>And out of the ground </i></i><b><i><i>the Lord God </i></i></b><i><i><u><b>formed</b></u></i></i><b><i><i> every [wild] beast and living creature of the field and every bird of the air and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them; </i></i></b><i><b><span style="color:#3F51B5;"><i>and whatever Adam called every living creature, that was its name.</i></span></b></i><br/> <i><b><i>And Adam gave names to all the livestock and to the birds of the air and to every [wild] beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found a helper meet (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him</i></b></i><i><i>.</i></i><br/> <i><i>And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and while he slept, He took one of his ribs or a part of his side and closed up the [place with] flesh. But Adam never called any his own... Imagine, if Adam saw the beautiful peacock, and choose that as his helper...it maybe funny...(<i>smiles</i>)..but it may have been so..'cause the bible records whatever he called them, became their name... Thankfully, he did not - i believe God was with him through the process.. When no helper was found among the animals, God made Eve. And so it was, a helper finally.<br/> <br/>This also tells us that we need to work & walk with God in order not to be quick to choose every initial package, the best may just be ahead.<br/> <br/>Secondly, let's see Noah's naming:<br/> <br/><i>When </i><i>Lamech</i><i> was 182 years old, a son was born. </i><i><span style="color:#3F51B5;"><b><b>He named him named him Noah, saying, This one shall bring us relief and comfort from our work and the [grievous] toil of our hands due to the ground being cursed by the Lord...</b></b></span></i><b><span style="color:#3F51B5;"><i>.Gen. 3:28-29 (AMP)</i></span></b><br/> <br/>Noah fulfilled the meaning of his name.<br/> <i>But Noah found Favour with the Lord. From time to time, I can boldly ask God to be it unto me according to meaning of my name, and several times he has.<br/> <br/>Name really matters, & sometimes affects our life.
