Have you ever thought of the meaning of your name? Or the name you have given to situations around you and the impact or effects of that?...
Most times Naming is overlooked by many... It's not just about a name sounding nice to hear, the meaning also matters most times. Let's see this..

Now the Lord God said, It is not good (sufficient, satisfactory) that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him.
And out of the ground the Lord God formed every [wild] beast and living creature of the field and every bird of the air and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them; and whatever Adam called every living creature, that was its name.
And Adam gave names to all the livestock and to the birds of the air and to every [wild] beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found a helper meet (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him.
And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and while he slept, He took one of his ribs or a part of his side and closed up the [place with] flesh. And the rib or part of his side which the Lord God had taken from the man He built up and made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
*Then Adam said, This [creature] is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of a man.* Gen.2:18-23

When God Saw that man needed a helper, he first made Animals pass before him to see what he will call them. But Adam never called any his own... Imagine, if Adam saw the beautiful peacock, and choose that as his helper...it maybe funny...(smiles)..but it may have been so..'cause the bible records whatever he called them, became their name... Thankfully, he did not - i believe God was with him through the process.. When no helper was found among the animals, God made Eve. And so it was, a helper finally.

This also tells us that we need to work & walk with God in order not to be quick to choose every initial package, the best may just be ahead.

Secondly, let's see Noah's naming:

When Lamech was 182 years old, a son was born. He named him named him Noah, saying, This one shall bring us relief and comfort from our work and the [grievous] toil of our hands due to the ground being cursed by the Lord....Gen. 3:28-29 (AMP)

Noah fulfilled the meaning of his name.
But Noah found Favour with the Lord. This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he walked in close fellowship with God. Genesis 6:8-9‭ (NLT).

Then Noah built an altar to the Lord , and there he sacrificed as burnt offerings the animals and birds that had been approved for that purpose. And the Lord was pleased with the aroma of the sacrifice and said to himself, “I will never again curse the ground because of the human race, even though everything they think or imagine is bent toward evil from childhood. I will never again destroy all living things. As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night.”
Genesis 8:20‭-‬22 NLT

I thank God for granting my parents insight to give me a prophetic and Godly name.. From time to time, I can boldly ask God to be it unto me according to meaning of my name, and several times he has.

Name really matters, & sometimes affects our life. You can rename your situation or yourself under God. The power of life & death is in the tongue.
