WHOSE FAULT IS IT ANYWAY?

Dennis and felix were driving to their different offices and were both caught up in Traffic. While waiting for the light to go green, Dennis was distracted & so did not notice the change in Traffic Light, after about a minute, to Yellow; Felix who was running late for work turned on his ignition, and on the change to green, he moved speedily and !!!CRASH!!....He had hit Dennis who was still struggling to turn on the ignition of his car. And so both men came out of their cars, shouting and blaming each other for the accident. Dennis blamed Felix for being in a haste, Felix blamed Dennis for being a sluggish and Lazy driver. They were at a point causing traffic jam on the road, which led to both of them being taken to the Office of the Federal Road Safety Commission and they were....?.....we'll come to that. 
This is just an example of how we get into the blame circle. When something Negative or undesirable happens, the natural human tendency is to push the responsibility of such to another person, especially things meriting censure. 
 It started in the garden of Eden when Man disobeyed God and fell. Here is a short tale of it: "Then the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”, He replied, “I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.” 
"Who told you that you were naked?” the Lord God asked. “Have you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?” 
The man replied, “It was the woman you gave me who gave me the fruit, and I ate it.” ( God moved on to ask Eve)Then the Lord God asked the woman, “What have you done?” “The serpent deceived me,” she replied. “That’s why I ate it.” Genesis.3:9-13. 
 And so here was Adam blaming the woman, & God also for giving him a wife, while the woman (Eve) pushed the blame to the serpent.  
 The israelites after being saved from captivity, while passing through the wilderness, blamed Moses for their hardship. Here is what they said,"Why did you make us leave Egypt and bring us here to this terrible place? This land has no grain, no figs, no grapes, no pomegranates, and no water to drink!” Numbers. 20:5. One would have expected a bit of gratitude from people who had been given their freedom. 
 In our world Today, The blame circle continues... 
In Schools, the unsuccessful student blames his failure on the inability of the teacher to teach and pass on knowledge, while the teacher blames the student for being unable to understand basic teachings or having a low I.Q (intelligence Quotient). Peharps if the teacher tried using a different teaching approach and the student pays more attention, success will be achieved for all. 
 At home, during a misunderstanding, the distraught wife blames the husband for being insensitive, unloving and uncaring, while the husband blames the wife for being touchy and disrespectful. will peace not be gained if both husband and wife apologise to each other? 
 At the work place, when there is a lag in meeting set business target, the boss blames the worker for being lazy, the workers blame the boss for being uptight. Will Productivity and profit not be maximized, if both the workers and the boss worked as a team? 
 There are so many instances where we may find ourselves in the blame circle, but the truth remains that no matter how justifiable your blame maybe, it does not exempt you from possible consequencies attached, even when you had the minutest input to it. This also robs you of inner peace. 
 In Genesis 3:14, the serpent was cursed, but God also meted out punishment for both Adam and Eve . To the woman He said, “I will greatly multiply Your pain in childbirth, In pain you will bring forth children; Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you.” Then to Adam He said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat from it’; Cursed is the ground because of you; In toil you will eat of it All the days of your life. Genesis.3:16-17. 
 The universal law of cause and effect states that for every effect, there is a definite cause likewise for every cause there is a definite effect; your thoughts, behaviour and actions create specific effects that manifest and create your life as you know it. 
To live peaceful and successful lives we need to move out of the blame circle, How?, by dealing with the root cause, which is our focus on immediate need of the moment, which in our minds, we expect the other person(s) to meet. Our exit from this peace-robbing circle starts from changing our thought-process, taking responsibility of our actions and seeking re-dress where necessary. 
God's word directs us on how to handle our thought life to live peaceful and Successful lives. He says,‘‘And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.’’ Phillipians 4:23. 
 Now back to our story: In the Office of the FRSC, Dennis was fined for making calls while driving which distracted him, Felix was fined for overspeeding. They were also instructed to take care of damages done to each others' car. 
So the next time you feel like passing a blame, stop and think, find out the most peaceful way out, and take necessary responsibility to achieve success.

Life is full of challenges, you would agree with me; and Change is said to be a constant in life. Today you may be mourning and Tomorrow you are celebrating. With the highs and lows, the ups and downs, one would ask- can there ever be stability in Life?.
 
 
In our world today, there is so much chaos, financial recession, heartbreaks, increase in lawlessness and new diseases arising everyday. Things considered as abominations in the past are being legalized by law- from divorce rates hiking up each day to gay rights, abortion, people becoming less loving & more selfish; and Most people don't even want to hear you talk about "GOD" or "JESUS". They ask, where is God in the midst of all the chaos and struggles in the world? If He is the Almighty God, why can't he just intervene and make the world all good? Why can't He take all the pain away? Even some Christians at times ask similar questions.
 
 
The Truth is, God is watching...Yes, He is very much alive and watching in Love. Would a Loving God let us go through heartaches and struggles?...Not necessarily...God's Love is such that allows His Loved one to exercise their free-will and only comes in to intervene if He is invited to do so. Most heartaches arise from our disobedience to his word, although He may let us undergo some hardship to build trust in Him. Hear His word in Isaiah 55:8,"My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts",says the Lord. And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine; so how can we really understand?. Our understanding of God is revealed in the Person Of Jesus Christ.
 
 
I've been through hard and trying times, situations which seemed Hopeless, heartaches and all; but in all these things, i realized that all the while, God was standing by and watching, with a heart filled with Love. Was God Punishing me for my sins? well, he won't be wrong if he did-but no, that's not the point and reason. Here's the point...

For the Believer, the dealings of God with us its for building up our faith in him. Everything he allows us pass through is for a reason, which could be to build up our faith in Him, to keep us from sin, to show the world his power, to encourage us and so much more; but each process is for our good and His glory and He never leaves us alone. We live in a fallen world with trials and temptations each day, but His word says, " The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation be more than you can stand. when you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure". 1.Corinthians 10:13.
 
 
You may feel boxed-in with several issues, crisis after crisis, disappointments, financial issues, heartbreaks, just name it-it may even be in your health. But there is way out- That's Jesus. He is the answer and solution you seek. If you are a believer-hold on and listen to Him speak; If you left the Christian faith, its time come back home, for He is waiting for you, and if you've never accepted, now is the acceptable time for you to take hold of His hand of salvation which he is reaching out to you-say this prayer: Lord Jesus, i confess that i am a sinner, i believe you died and rose again to save me from my sins, i accept you as my Lord and Personal Saviour, cleanse me with your blood and make me your Child, in Jesus name,Amen. Now that you are saved, join a Bible-believing Church and make True Christians your friends for, "As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend".Proverbs 27:17
 
 
And so, in essence, Where is God?, The answer: He is revealed in Jesus Christ, as it is written,"For God himself in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ" Colossians 1:19.

The question now is,"who are you in love with?"-a Friend? or an Enemy?, How do you know the difference? 
Here is a story to show us that......
Samson was a young man birthed by prophecy, anointed, and destined by God to be great. He however cut his destiny short by being at ease in the camp of the enemy and so he fell in love easily with the enemy, named Delilah. "Some time later Samson fell in love with a woman named Delilah, who lived in the valley of Sorek." Judges.16:4 . 
How did he get so low to fall in love with her?. There is a saying that Rome was not built in a day, so the fall of a man does not start on the day he falls, but its progressive.
The first step was his disobedience to his parents by insisting to marry a Philistine woman, who he later lost. At another time he spent the night with a prostitute in Gaza, a Philistine town. Then he met Delilah [sound same as "the liar" to me]. Samson's eyes was drawn to women outside the kingdom of God and this became a snare the enemy used to get him down. "Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death." James.1:14-15. So, he fell for the subtle schemes of the enemy.
She tried three different times times to find out the source of his strength,not to help him maximize it,but to weaken him. 
One would have thought that at her 2nd or 3rd attempt he would have realised who she truly was-but he didn't,Why?. He had made his dwelling with her instead of in God's people. 
She surrounded him with the influence and atmosphere of her personality; a lust-coated love filled with Pretence, Deception, Secrecy, lustful passions, and Lies.(marks of the enemy). She had mastered the art of seduction and got him drunk with such false love, that he finally cast his pearls among the swine to be trashed, and then devour him: Finally, Samson shared his secret with her. “My hair has never been cut,” he confessed, “for I was dedicated to God as a Nazirite from birth. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as anyone else.” Delilah realized he had finally told her the truth, so she sent for the Philistine rulers. “Come back one more time,” she said, “for he has finally told me his secret.” So the Philistine rulers returned with the money in their hands.  Delilah lulled Samson to sleep with his head in her lap, and then she called in a man to shave off the seven locks of his hair. In this way she began to bring him down, and his strength left him...." Judges.16:17-19. 
Hmm...how art the mighty fallen? in the name of "love"? No, this was lust in love's clothing.
In our time, many Christian Singles, like Samson, have fallen prey to the enemy through his deception. You may find yourself attracted to a non-Christian,possibly with a strong affection..how you handle it will determine your end-would you trust God for grace to quench it? or do u manipulate ways to always be around the person?. Every man has a weakness,but it only becomes a point of failure when he fails to submit it to God to be strengthened as God's word says,“My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” 2 Cor.12:9.  
When it comes to relationships which you hope would lead to marriage, God is kept at bay, because you bought the lie of the enemy that God's will would be ancient, unfashionable and not beautiful enough for you. This, in the end ruins your life. As a Lady, He could stop you from doing things that enhance your spiritual growth e.g Fellowship with brethren, devotion to God,e.t.c. As a young man, during your bible study or retreat times would be when she would choose to bring up other nagging concerns thereby distracting you. It now becomes a thorn in your flesh...
Really...ask yourself..who are you in love with? who are you about falling in love with?...SELAH
It's a call to evaluate your relationships in line with God's word. You may need to let go of some, Cultivate new ones, or nurture and invest more on some. If you find yourself  as a single in love with the enemy, you can come out and be free. its not a hopeless situation yet, for Samson's hair grew again after he reconciled back to God. You too can do the same. Remember a broken relationship is better than a broken marriage. God's choice is always with our best interest at heart.
May you find true love and Never fall in love with an enemy.

Each day i go out...i see people busy and also interacting which is good. However, the way single ladies feel at ease to discuss immorality still beats my imagination. I've heard things like,"We just started dating but yet to sleep together"..... and some can't wait for the valentine's day for that to happen...hmm...you know what i mean...in the name of a lust coated love....and i can't help but wonder...when i was much younger, such conversations are rarely heard in public. what went wrong?  
 
Here's what happened: so many ladies have chewed and swallowed the pill of lies given by the enemy that because there are more women than men, you have to fight your way into a man's heart. I see ladies under so much pressure to "meet up". Attention has been given to beautifying the outside and less  of the inside: all because you've told yourself,"HE MUST NOTICE ME"- so you feel on top of the world when called "HOT & SEXY". And the result-so many hearts broken. 
My dear, i'd rather be on Fire for God in His cottage than hot in the devil's duplex- well hell is gonna be damn Hot...and i bet you, none of us wanna be there. 
 
In reality,We've let the enemy turn the truth of God into a lie. what's the truth you may ask. The truth in His word that, "....This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife; and the two are united into one...." Matthew.19:5. 
In essence the man should be the one going for the lady, not the other way round. 
 
I want to let you know this- Back then in my Secondary school and University days, there were few of us that stood for God and sexual purity, and other the majority pack made it look as if we were weird.... but then i realized that deep within them, they longed for the courage we had to hold on. You may be striving to stand for sexual purity but you are being ridiculed as old fashioned...Stand firm girl!!! they are doing that 'cause they are unable to lay hold of the inner strength God has given you...so they want to drag you down. Keep holding on. 
 
Do you feel less pretty?..Listen, after God made you He said you are Very Good...Wonderfully and fearfully made. Its time you throw away the lies of the devil and understand the place God has given us. The truth is, the more i get close to God, the more awestruck i feel in understanding the place he has given us. The finest jewels are found in deepest parts of the earth. Only men of courage see beyond the dirt and dig deep to find and own the diamond.  
Each morning after I've talked with my Daddy and Jesus and by inspiration of Holy spirit my greatest mentor. I go out like one walking on the clouds 'cause my worth is found in Christ and not man. 
 
Yes...you may say you are losing time....your biological clock. I want to let you know this- that we are classmates or even twins does not make us destiny mates. Time is a human factor and we serve a timeless God who is never late. He knows when you are ready and He would make it happen for you...Just keep in step with Him. 
 
Always remember this: Our Dad is the King of kings...that makes us His Princesses. No kingdom, even in this world, have princesses going for a search for men, cause many long for her...The only thing is they have to get the Kings permission and approval. Your heart is of so much worth to the King. Only a royal prince, who knows the worth of the heart of a princess also, can make such an appearance before Him. So sit still my lady, sparkling like a jewel and be about your Father's business- by giving your life in totality to Jesus. Your time would come. Remember Rebecca went to the well and so did Rachel.  
Heed the advice on the picture. (Especially this Valentine Period). God Loves you....

Well, when it comes to issues about relationships (like ones expected to lead to marriage) so many comments, suggestions, opinions and advice arises, both solicited and unsolicited ones. 
 
Every single young Lady can relate with this and much more, especially when you are a Christian young lady striving to live for Jesus and maintain Biblical standards. You hear words like,"All you need is a nice guy, caring, with good character, don't place such a high standard....hmm..A nice combination right?.....oh i think i forgot one.....guess which...?i believe you got it- he's got to be rich. Wow, girl what else are you looking for in a guy?...don't let this pass you by...(smiles-and wonder: "whatever happened to GOD-IN-THE HEART)". Really reminds me of the scripture in Matt.19:17, when Jesus told a young man that, ".....none is Good except God..." Only a man surrendered to God can be really good. 
I've come to a point in life to know and understand that morals are not just enough. Only a man sold out to God can truly understand and take his place in his family as the head and love his wife and children. 
 
Jacob was a man close to God enough to get direction from God concerning his family, and his family willingly submitted knowing that God leads him and they are safe(Genesis.31:14-16). That's a man that leads his home. I tell you leading a home is not easy-so it takes bravery of heart and sheer courage which comes from the indwelling of the Spirit of God, not a man's outward six packs muscular appearance, to lead a home. 
 
Now their question, But where is such a guy in this generation? They still exist...in their place in God. I remember at one time Elijah thought he was the only one remaining of the true prophets, here is what God told him,".....yet i have left me 7000 in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed to baal...." 1 Kings. 19:14-18. 
Truly we are in a generation where there are many men who lacks true understanding of relationship and marriage and as such most single ladies wrongly believe that since all men are the same, accepts any that comes..just to be married.. They forget that God has got a bigger picture of purpose for their lives of which marriage is only a part. Some "Christian" singles go as far as going into a relationship with an unsaved guy, saying they will convert him- what one of my most loved female author Michelle McKinney calls "Missionary Dating".. Girl, that's the job of the Holy Spirit not ours, okay! 
 
Yet they insist "where is such a guy in this generation?" They are extinct. hey!, Girlfriend, i understand you've been through a lot of heartbreaks, and sister the so called "brother" took your pearls away and left you in ashes...Christ came to heal your wounds and give you beauty for ashes. Listen and hear Him say,"just hand over your heart to me and i will heal it" 
 
I know it's not easy,but God's grace is ever sufficient in our weaknesses...(2. Cor.12:9). God still has a remnant of Godly men. In fact God needs us to surrender our lives to Him in total abandonment so He can make us Godly Ladies. Only then can you understand that your true worth is found in Christ not in a man and also you can discern a Godly man when you see one. 
 
And if your still unsaved, its a awesome opportunity to bow your head, confess your sins to Christ Jesus, believe He died and rose to redeem you from sin and accept Him as your Lord and Saviour, and you shall be saved. 
If you said that prayer, Welcome aboard, I've been on this path for more than a decade now and i can assure you, staying in Love with Christ is the best thing that happened to me and will be same for you. As you hope in God, may He bring you to the Godly man prepared for you as he brought Eve to Adam- No Scheming or Manipulation. Grace to you & Glory to God. Stay Blessed.

WISDOM OR FOLLY? HERE'S GOD'S VERDICT 2

Perhaps you seemed wise & innocent on the 5-count charge...but you've got to check this out too... 
 
6. MAKING FUN OF ONE'S GUILT: It is true that man by nature is a fallible being, imperfect in so many ways; but that should not serve as an excuse to keep doing the wrong things and believe it does not matter....worse still, make fun of your guilt. Doing the latter makes you a fool before God. 
GOD'S VERDICT: Fools make fun of guilt, but the godly acknowledge it and seek reconciliation. Proverbs.14:9 
God expects that you work towards perfection and one way to do that is by acknowledging and forsaking your sins/guilt when noticed. 
GODLY ADVICE: "People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy." Proverbs. 28:13. 
 
7. DESPISING A PARENT'S DISCIPLINE: It is common now to see youths disrespect discipline of their parents. A parent here can be either biological or another older person who stands as a figure of authority over your life. it is only one who is loved,that is disciplined, so refusing a parent's discipline makes you a fool before God. 
GOD'S VERDICT: Only a fool despises a parent’s discipline; whoever learns from correction is wise. Proverbs. 15:5. 
Discipline help us to form Good Character and lifestyle. 
GODLY ADVICE: A wise child accepts a parent’s discipline; a mocker refuses to listen to correction. Proverbs.13:1. 
 
8. INSISTING ON QUARELLING: We have been created with distinct personalities and from different backgrounds; As such it is common that disagreements can arise. At such points, we have a choice to either find a common ground to agree or fuel the root of the discord. But Listen to this: 
GOD'S VERDICT: Avoiding a fight is a mark of honor; only fools insist on quarreling. Proverbs. 20:3. 
Being Tolerant or Walking away from discord is not a mark of weakness, but shows that you are strong and mature enough to let unnecessary issues wear off, without getting to you. 
GODLY ADVICE: Be gentle and forbearing with one another and, if one has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against another, readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive]. Colossians.3:13. 
 
9. DESPISING ADVICE: The journey of life is that of time and seasons. Once time is expended, it can never be retrieved. To make the most of a particular season of life, you'll need to be guided by those who have gone ahead of you in that season. it would be foolishness to feel that you need no advice. 
GOD'S VERDICT: Don’t waste your breath on fools, for they will despise the wisest advice. Proverbs.23:9. 
It is foolishness to become non-receptive to advice. 
GODLY ADVICE: Plans go wrong for lack of advice; many advisers bring success.Proverbs. 15:22. 
 
10. DISBELIEF IN GOD'S EXISTENCE: Every human being has a vacuum in the heart which makes each one either to believe in God or assume a god. There is virtually no one who does not believe in something, even if its in self-yourself. Hear this.... 
GOD'S VERDICT: Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good! Psalms.14:1. 
The truth remains that only God can perfectly fill that void. The desire you have not to die but to live for ever is a proof of God's existence. Here's why,"Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end."Ecclesiastics.3:11. 
The belief in God is of FAITH not of the Senses. 
GODLY ADVICE:And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
